The shed

They came in small carton boxes
all these railwaystations, warehouses, sheds
all these little houses and other adornments
for dad's indoor railwayworlds

swiss style, german style, a bit lowland style
complex worlds they were
lots of rails, lots of loops, lots of crossings
joints and dead ends

transport in miniature surroundings
it has sharpened my eye for lots of details
on otherwise dull buildings
for instance this giant shed near the railwaystation
in the place where i live

no money for a new coat of paint
and how wonderful it still looks!
